Because there’s a great chance I’ve been in your shoes — and even if that’s not actually the case, I have learned things along the way that give me a unique and success-proven perspective and I want to pay it forward.

I've worked in Europe (lived there, too), Asia and across North America, serving on global teams in roles ranging from corporate "doer" to senior-level decision maker. My journey serving on both the agency/vendor and corporate/client sides has armed me with a holistic perspective of business relationships, a unique view of what different audiences and leaders need, and a genuine commitment to finding success in all environments. I've collaborated with people across time zones and at all organizational levels — from individual contributors to managers to top executives — and I have a proven track record of building successful programs amid complex corporate landscapes.

More times than I can count, I was the only woman, or one of few, in the room. I’ve had my nose ring and tattoos edited out of visa photos. I’ve been mistaken for the coffee girl, asked to take notes when I was actually the lead presenter, told that the global program I was building would never work because I wouldn’t be taken seriously enough.

And I’ve learned how to turn that — and the myriad of similar transgressions — into the fuel that propelled my career and earned me a seat at some important tables, literally and figuratively.
